100,000 Mazda RX-8s on the road, could've fooled me

Don't get me wrong, I love the Mazda RX-8. But with news that the 100,000th RX-8 rolled off the assembly line in just 18 months of production I'm left scratching my head. Now this is a great accomplishment to be sure, but where the heck are the RX-8s? I can count on one hand how many I see in the greater Chicago area. Granted it's not a sports car haven but I see a lot more 350Zs. Anyway we should congratulate Mazda on this news and maybe after another 100,000 I'll see a few more on the street.
