2005 Best Sellers so far are no surprise

The Automotive News Data Center has published a list of the top ten best sellers of 2005 through the month of September. According to MSN Autos, who has thankfully bought a subscription to the Automotive News site so the rest of us don't have to, the top ten so far this year is filled with the usual suspects. The F-Series tops the list at 694,690 units, which means it's still possible for the truck to break 900,000 units for the second year in a row. The Toyota Camry, which includes the Solara (is that fair?), is the best selling passenger car but sits behind the F-Series and Silverado in the number three spot. MSN happened to notice, as well, that every truck/SUV on the list is a domestic and every passenger car is a Japanese import. Things that make you go, hmm…
