Audi A6 and Infiniti M earn top crash test scores
The 2005 Audi A6 and the 2006 Infiniti M35 earned 'good' ratings in side and front offset collision tests. The tests were conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The previous generation A6 scored 'acceptable' in an earlier test, with the potential for leg injuries. The 2005 model did not experience the same level of front compartment intrusion, lessening the chances of leg injuries. Both the A6 and the M35 were reported to have low injury measures as well. The tests were conducted at the request of Audi and Infiniti. Having two lovely vehicles sacrificed for the cause of safety brings a collective tear to our eyes.
