Jeep ventures into lower ground
Jeep is set to reveal two completely new vehicle concepts at this year's Frankfurt show. These two vehicles are
aimed squarely at the youth market. The Patriot concept appears to be a more traditional Jeep from a style sense. It
will be a low-priced crossover, starting around $16,000. If the Patriot is more rugged, the Compass Rallye is clearly
more car-like. Think of it as the Jeep version of the Caliber. Both vehicles will probably share the same platform and
drivetrain. While the Compass Rallye is an interesting concept, we wonder if it is a bit too far off the beaten path
for the Jeep brand.
