SUV City – the film
The latest salvo in the systematic condemnation of SUV owners is an 8.5-minute short film called SUV City about an entire metropolis devoted to this largest species of station wagon. The creators state that the film "explores the psychology and the reasons why people choose to drive big SUV's." While we're against purchasing an SUV for status rather than its inherent utility, the movie is basically one big cheap shot poking fun at soccer moms, dudes with penis envy and Republicans in one fell swoop. While entertaining and extremely well animated, there are more intelligent ways to get across your side's argument.
