Who is the King of Motorsport?
Well, at next week's Battle of Kings
2005 we'll find out! This light-hearted annual charity event, hosted by Red Bull, will be held September 5-7 on the
sun 'n fun island of Ibiza.
The event brings together stars from F1, MotoGP, Motocross and Rallying to race jet skis, canoes, jet boats, quads and
buggies. Proceeds from the event go to the Wings for Life Spinal Cord
Research Foundation.
U.S. representatives include Ben Bostrom, AMA Superbike champ, and Travis Pastrana, X-Games winner.
With the event falling right between back-to-back F1 races at Monza and Spa, you have to think that Red Bull Racing's
team manager will have a few sleepless nights - all three of his drivers will be risking life and limb (not to mention
hangovers) in sunny Spain. [Via
