Honda Civic gearing up for SEMA Show

The Civic has been at one time or another the poster-car for tuners, so it seems fitting that Honda has built its own site devoted to the Civic and this year's SEMA Show in November where it will be Vehicle Manufacturer of the Show. Many aftermarket companies like Tein, producers of high performance suspensions, will be on hand with their Civic project cars probably completed just the night before.

The "Honda at SEMA 2005" site features the low-down on a couple of project Civics scheduled to appear at the show, as well as a great Heritage section documenting each generation of this significant little sedan. There's also a Tuner Gallery where owners of modified Civics can post shots and specs of their own ride. Next year we could definitely see a custom sport compact revival, as Honda, the reluctant parent of the scene, seems to finally be getting behind its baby in a major way.
