Nissan completes a 180 with 1,000,000 more vehicles

Carlos Ghosn could simply and most effectively be described as The Man. He's like the Bob Lutz for the rest of the world.

In May of 2002 with Nissan dangling one foot in the grave he announced "Nissan 180", a plan to turnaround the company by increasing the its annual sales by 1,000,000 units.

Back then Nissan was moving 2.6 million units. By the end of this month Nissan will announce it has reached its target of 3.6 million annual units. Congratulations Nissan, we're glad you're still around.
