Camry takes on China

Toyota Motor will debut its successful Camry model in China in mid-2006. Toyota and its Chinese partner, Guangzhou Automobile Group, plan to move 100,000 Camrys annually through a network of about 100 dealers.

Market leaders in China are Volkswagen and GM - Toytota is working hard to catch up, and unleashing the Camry, the best-selling car in the U.S., is a key step.
