New things in store for the HUMMER brand
Thanks to the
H3, HUMMER experienced a 93 percent increase in sales this year. The (relatively) small SUV packed such a big punch that
company execs are mulling expanding the brand.
Brand manager Susan Docherty says that, despite the rise in gas prices, there’s a heck of a lot of untapped potential in the brand, and HUMMER plans to move forward in coming out with new models. Any new models will fit the brand, of course — don’t expect any sports cars or minivans coming anytime soon, but watch out for vehicles with the performance and off-road capability HUMMER is known for, like a HUMMER H3 SUT
