A few auto companies make Forbes' Platinum 400 list
Forbes' annual
recognizes the best large corporations in America, and this year, a select few automotive companies had sufficiently
impressive financial performance to make the list.Among the passenger-car OEMs, Toyota Motors, Honda Motors, and Nissan Motors made the grade. Obviously, these three companies have had an impressive run in the market in the last five years, but it's interesting to note that each of them has provided significantly less return-on-investment than the average in Forbes' Consumer Durables category.
Other automotive companies that made the list were Genuine Parts (better known to most of us as NAPA), Johnson Controls, Autoliv, and BorgWarner.
