ALMS heads north of the border
The first round of practice for this weekend's Grand Prix of Mosport (live on SPEED Channel 3 pm EDT Sunday), saw
some of the dominant players in the series uncharacteristically down on the speed charts.
The Champion Racing Audi R8s could manage no better than 3rd and 4th, behind the two Dyson Racing Lolas, while in GT2
a Panoz Esperante claimed P1, ahead of the usually dominant Porsche of Alex Job Racing.
The ALMS Series and the SPEED World Challenge GT and Touring Car series (also at Mosport this weekend) consistently
provide some of the most exciting road course racing in North America. Should be well worth some couch time on
Sunday.
