Alfa Romeo looking for a new design head?
You've got just one more week to visit the Automobile Museum of Turin to catch "Italian Sportivity: The New Generation," where you might just see work by a future head of Alfa Romeo. The car company, along with Ducati, charged students from Turin's Institute of Applied Arts and Design (IAAD) to teach some old dogs new tricks. Students had the choice of two wheels or four; an Alfa Romeo B-segment or the Ducati Monster, the brand's "naked" motorcycle (looks like a dirt bike to me, but I'm no motorcycle aficionado). The B-segment Alfas available for refresh were the '60s era GT Junior or the '30s era 8C. Even the Europeans are going retro! "Italian Sportivity: the New Generation" runs through September 7, 2005.
