Audi 2005 Sales to Rise by 1 Billion Euros
Audi has made a splash at Frankfurt with the
debut of the Q7 and announcing its
joint venture with VW and Porsche to develop hybrid
technology. Adding icing to the cake, CEO Martin Winterkorn announced Audi's 2005 sales is projected to rise by 1
billion euros from last year's 24.5 billion, a somewhat conservative estimate given Audi sales has already risen 11%
YTD. Audi's future is looking bright, with the A3 doing well, launch of Q7, and 2nd-gen TT, A5, Le Mans and possibly Q5
on the way, there will be plenty of work for the 45,000 employees at its Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm plants.
