Audi S6 may debut in Detroit with V10
Audi-o-philes who have their fingers on the pulse of Ingolstadt are making their calls on the new Audi S6 that will
likely debut at the Detroit Auto Show in early January or perhaps even the L.A. show a week earlier. The big news is
that the S6 may get a slightly detuned version of the Gallardo V10 that's also being used in the S8.
Fourtitude expects that the version
being shoehorned in the S6 will produce around 420 hp to the S8's 450 hp. It's unknown whether the S6 will be made
available in both sedan and wagon versions in the U.S., though Fourtitude was kind enough to render digital images of
both that show the subtle S-line specific styling tweaks.
