AutoWeek missing the point on Mustang pricing?Autoblog is a huge fan of AutoWeek. That said, Richard Truett's piece on the Ford Mustang not selling above sticker price on eBay doesn't really tell the full story. Sure not many people are willing to pay above sticker price on a mass-produced American car no matter the coolness factor. But the fact is these cars are barely staying on dealership lots at the sticker price. Why is that significant? Because Ford and the Big 3 have been inundating everyone with huge rebates for the past three years. Here's a vehicle that is getting no haggle buyers. Enjoy it. Build the buzz and watch the bottom line get out of the red. If only Ford had the same success with the new Freestar minivan.
