Saturn Aura to receive six-speed auto
According to TCC, GM announced yesterday that the 2007 Saturn Aura would be available with a Hydra-Matic 6T70 six-speed transmission that was jointly developed with Ford, who will likely also use the new slush-box in its Fusion and Five-Hundred sedans. The unit was designed specifically for front-drive and all-wheel-drive vehicles using transversely-mounted engines, and manumatic shifting has been designed into the transmission's electronics.
