Scion tC new car of Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race

With the Celica gone Toyota's Pro/Celebrity Race will begin using Scion's tC as its official race vehicle. The tC
will be race prepped with a DC Sports stainless steel exhaust and ceramic header, Centerforce single-disc racing
clutch, Progress Technology racing coil-over shocks and springs, Stop-Tech brakes and full roll cage. The Toyota
Pro/Celebrity race goes hand in hand with the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, of which Toyota has announced a
sponsorship extension through 2010. The next Pro/Celebrity Race will be held on Saturday, April 8 2006 in downtown Long
Beach, CA in conjunction with the 32nd Grand Prix of Long Beach, at which time we'll get to see D-list celebrities like
Kathy Griffin torture the tC and inevitably crash each one into a wall. [Note: Kathy Griffin's participation has not
been made official, just assumed.]
