Seat Altea FR
Seat's press conference was pretty low key. There were no sheets pulled off concept cars or new models driven out on stage. Instead the car Seat was announcing at the Frankfurt Motor Show was sitting on the stage uncovered the whole time. It's the Altea FR, a performance version of the Altea four-door that features a new 2.0L TDI diesel that produces 170 hp, a six-speed manual, different bumpers than the standard model and alloy wheels. The vehicle also features bi-functional adaptive xenon headlights that not only self-adjust their height but are also able to follow the radius of a curve. 0-62mph happens in about 8.6 seconds, which certainly isn't lightning quick but you can bet the mileage ain't too shabby for the pseudo-sports vehicle.
