Time Warp: 1990 Consulier GTP
I was going through some old auto show paperwork and found postcards and brochure for the Consulier GTP, a project from Warren Mosler that took parts from a turbo Chrysler LeBaron and melded them into a lightweight racer. While this was really a track car, some were sold to the public. While looking for some more information, I came across this article from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. One of the University's economics staff uses one as a daily driver. She had an internship with Mosler, who made his money as an economist, and was given the car to drive. Mosler still builds and races cars, but has moved from turbo 2.2-liters to Corvette Z06 V-8s in the new MT900S.
