Timely winter weather tips

We don't usually regurgitate press releases here like some other automotive sites, but from time to time a release does actually have some useful tips. As the winds start to pick up here in Chicago and weather overall is getting worse throughout the east as people are getting on the roads to visit family and friends it's a good time to do some winter weather checks. Tire Rack has a whole winter weather driving FAQ on their site you can check out and of course buy new tires if you need them. But for the most part make sure all your fluids are topped off, you have anti-freezing window wash, clean wiper blades and check your tire pressure when cold. And most importantly DRIVE SAFELY!
