Top ten most stolen vehicles show that small isn't safe

According to CCC Information Services Inc., an organization that monitors stolen and damaged vehicles, small cars are among the most targeted vehicles for theft. Apparently compacts are easy to steal, dismantle and then sell, mainly due to their popularity among import enthusiasts. The 1995-2001 Acura Integra dominates the list, taking six of the ten most stolen slots. The powerful 1.8-liter engine is easily inserted into the Honda Civic, a favorite among racers.

The 10 most stolen vehicles for 2005 include:
  1. 2001 BMW M roadster
  2. 1998 Acura Integra
  3. 2004 Mercury Marauder
  4. 1999 Acura Integra
  5. 1995 Acura Integra
  6. 2002 Audi S4
  7. 1996 Acura Integra
  8. 1997 Acura Integra
  9. 2001 Acura Integra (pictured)
  10. 2000 Jaguar XJR
The full list can be found here.
