Toyota Avalon living large and boring
Toyota better wake-up and smell the free coffee from Acura's booth. The new Toyota Avalon may be "the best yet" but it doesn't do anything better than the competition at first glance. Yes the fit and finish and interior materials are slightly better than the Chrysler 300, but they're still a giant step down from Acura and Infiniti. And while this isn't a Lexus, the "big" Toyota should offer a little more luxury. But Toyota will just plug this bigger version of the Camry into their line-up and sell a bunch based on their past reliability and resale value. Meanwhile pulses deaden everywhere.
