Toyota FJ Cruiser: Blogging the Chicago Auto Show
The first event of the day was Toyota's presentation of their FJ Cruiser…concept. This is still a year away from production and the vehicle on display had no interior etc. But the promise of the FJ is a good one and could add some fun to a brand that doesn't elicit much excitement. Toyota expects sales of 40,000 at first and promises an affordable price tag too. Horsepower is 245, with a standard six-speed manual and optional auto. The presentation also squarely pointed out men as being the primary target and "he" was used in every description of a typical buyer. More ive show pictures at the link.
