Toyota to auction seat in Long Beach Pro/Celebrity race on eBay
It may be a little late for your seasonal shopping list, but beginning January 16 on eBay, bidders can vie for a spot on the starting grid offor the 30th Anniversary Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race, held in Long Beach in April. The auction winner will be treated to a 10-lap sprint in a race-prepped Scion TC, going signal-mirror to signal-mirror with representatives of The Beautiful People, various sports stars, and slew of professional wheelmen.
In order to prevent serious carnage, the winner will also receive a four-day course at Fast Lane Driving School, personalized driving togs and lid, and various other perks.
The best part? Well, aside from the potential to get all over the back bumper of past competitors like Ashley Judd and Danica Patrick, all proceeds go to the Grand Prix Foundation, which aids charities in the Long Beach area.
