Trans-America in search of fine food, wine and the soul of a 1978 Porsche 911

Writer Christine Muhlke over at the New York Times combined a few of our favorite things into a single trip recently, going trans-continental across the USA in a 1978 Porsche 911 Targa, while indulging in fantastic food and spirits of all descriptions and price points.

Oenophiles, foodies, and car nuts would be well advised to pick up her rear-engined, cross-country odyssey here.
