Trio of Toyota Avalon concepts at SEMA

Among the many modified vehicles Toyota will have on display in Las Vegas this week will be a trio of Avalons that attempt to alter the staid image of the brand's full-size sedan. The Rad Rides by Troy Trepagnier Toyota Avalon Competition and the Avalon Touring by Street Image (shown) could be considered lowriders or perhaps modern day Japanese interpretations of the lead sled. While the Rad Rides version is more show than go, the Avalon Touring features a Garret twin-turbo kit with intercooler and a nitrous oxide system. The final car is the Hotchkis Avalon Pursuit Concept with a complete po-po exterior designed by Steward Reed Design. While the cruiser features no go-fast goodies to help it catch crooks, it is adorned with a myriad of colored blinking lights, a PA system and working siren.

Pics of the other two Avalons and complete mod lists after the jump…
