UPDATE: Ford selects top 75 '32 Ford hot rods
[For everyone who (justifiably) gave me a swift kick in pants for being too lazy to provide the full list of 75 milestone rods - here it is, after the jump.]
Ahead of the 2007 75th anniversary of the 1932 Ford, the definitive hot rod and the first car with a mass-produced V8, a Ford-sponsored panel revealed Friday its list of the 75 most significant '32 Ford hot rods.
The list of 75 ground-breaking hot rods was announced at the 57th Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, California, and the cars will be assembled into Ford's 75th anniversary commemorative display that will debut at the 2007 Grand National Show. The "American Graffiti" 5-window coupe shown above, is one of the cars selected. The rest are listed after the jump.
The Ford "Deuce" played a major role in the hot rod revolution, which led directly to today's $31 billion aftermarket industry.
