Update: Brokeback and Larry the Cable Guy's pickups go for big money
We were a
bit surprised to discover sibling-site Luxist had been tracking the from the
movie, Brokeback Mountain. But when we read the restored prop had sold for over $60,000 on eBay, we
understood why. According to Luxist, the former owner plans to use this windfall to pay for college.We also checked eBay for the 1977 Chevrolet driven by Larry the Cable Guy (pictured) in the movie Health Inspector. Diabetes research must be smiling, as the salvage-titled truck has for a not-insubstantial $10,100.
