VIDEO: Lucy, Desi and the Ford Skyliner
When the Ford Fairlane Skyliner came out as a new 1957 model, FoMoCo was ready with the celeb endorsements. Witness this 2-minute promo skit in which Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz get the full dog & pony show from Mr. 1950's Announcer Voice Guy as he regales them with tales of the goodness surrounding the car's retractable hardtop.
Many laugh-out-loud moments here, because Lucy and Desi are ... well ... Lucy and Desi. They're the pros. You know it's going to be great, so just watch it already.
