VIDEO: Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart Version-R in Hakkone
Hakkone is one of the birthplaces of drifting, with country roads that wind and twist around the mountainous terrain of this Japenese city. It's here where Mitsubishi invited some of the Japanese press and the chaps from Nihon Car and Bike, the only members of the foreign press in attendance, to preview the new Colt Ralliart Version-R.
These foreigners ended up getting a speeding ticket on their way to the press event, but shrugged it off and ended up with some great video of this Japanese domestic market pocket rocket. Their time was spent behind the wheel of the version with a Getrag five-speed. The Colt Ralliart Version-R itself sports a four-cylinder MIVEC engine producing 154 bhp.
The two-minute video is in glorious widescreen 720p and looks fantastic, and the narrator has a funny French accent.
