Wards is unenthusiastic about the new Chevy HHR
Wards Auto
has gotten its hands on a Chevy HHR, and has come to a conclusion that frankly wasn't hard to reach even before the vehicle hit dealerships - it's just too close to a Chrysler PT Cruiser. That being said, it's doesn't sound like a bad vehicle. They do claim that the interior "could be better", but they don't find a whole lot wrong with it, especially considering the $16K base price. If it's anything close to a Cobalt, it'll be pretty good in my opinion. Their complaints about the vehicle's lack of distinctive styling (I'll say it looks better in person than in pictures) and a base engine that's perhaps just a bit on the weak side are probably more valid, but compared to the looks of the Element or the 103 HP of the Scion xB, maybe these concerns don't really hold up, either.
