OK, some of these demands from drivers are getting a little ridiculous. Maybe I don't ask much from the interior of my car. I don't want "the cup holder to be hot and cold" and add more needless electronics. I think the trend that gives us a more thoughtful interior is great, but I guess I spend more time "driving" and not just commuting. I have one cup holder, satellite radio, a seat, steering wheel, gear selector and a lot of ponies under the gas pedal and happy. This article delves into the Volvo YCC concept, and the little touches women designed into it. Some things are interesting but a windshield wiper fluid filler next to the gas filler? That borderlines lazy.
