X-Type diesel stump-puller
Jaguar felt the best way give X-Type sales a kick in the rear in Europe was to give it a diesel makeover. The Jaguar not only gets a body kit, but a 153 horsepower 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine with 266 lb-ft of torque. The engine features an "overboost" capability that kicks in under hard acceleration to send 295 lb-ft of torque to the wheels for a brief period. Of course this one is for Europe only.
