Bertone, B.A.T. 11 Konzept-Skipping Genfer Motor Show
Selbst inmitten der finanziellen Sumpf umliegenden italienischen Design-Firma Bertone, waren wir der Hoffnung, um zu sehen, das Unternehmen die Präsenz auf der kommenden 2008 Genfer Motor Show - vor allem, da waren wir foppte mit Skizzen des BAT 11 Konzept. Das wird leider nicht passieren, als Wort aus Car Design News ist, dass Bertone wird vor allem fehlt im Schweizer Auto Show.
Tage nach der Enthüllung einige Details der neuen BAT, ein Alfa Romeo - basierend Konzept, das war geplant erscheinen in Genf, die Gesellschaft der PR-Mitarbeiter hatte die ungünstige Haltung der Ankündigung, dass weder das Auto oder das Unternehmen würde an der Show. Das ist bedauerlich, denn wir waren daran interessiert zu sehen, wenn die BAT 11 sah besser als ihr Cousin 8C Competizione in das Fleisch.
Ein solcher Vergleich kann lange auf sich warten lassen, wie Bertone weiter zu kämpfen, um massiven Schulden und bei der Suche nach einem neuen Eigentümer. Mit Verlusten in Höhe von fast 55,4 Millionen Dollar und eine ganze Reihe von anderen europäischen Styling Unternehmen mit ähnlichen Leiden, weder Lösung Mai erweisen sich als wahrscheinlichen Realität für Bertone.
