Ab Ende 2008 im Land-Rover-Fahrzeuge erhalten eine Start-Stopp-System, schaltet sich der Motor das Fahrzeug steht. Land Rover Marketing-Direktor Andy Griffiths, sagt, dass das Unternehmen ist auch die Entwicklung einer vollständigen Hybrid-System in ein Versuch, um anstehende EU-Kohlendioxid-Emissionen Grenzen.
